Write a report from your notes
Pick a class and a student, type or dictate your notes, and Lantern drafts a comment in your voice for you to edit.
Make your voice from five past reports
Paste five of your past reports or upload a file of them; names are replaced with a placeholder and the reports aren't linked to any student.
Draft a whole class with Batch
Fill in notes for every student, or upload a notes CSV, and draft the whole class in one go; each report still needs your review and sign-off.
Deal with rule findings and suggestions
Use "Yes, fix it", keep your wording, dismiss a suggestion or mark off a teacher check so the report can be signed off.
Find, copy and download your reports
Find past reports on the Reports page, copy a finalised report into your reporting system, or download PDF, Word or plain text, or a zip of a whole class.
Sign-in problems and forgotten passwords
What the sign-in error messages mean (school not set up, too many attempts, IT approval for Microsoft) and how to get a forgotten password reset.
